Some of them were just lucky their daddy owned a diamond mine or built a real estate empire.

People most likely to fall for cults and conspiracy theories tend to be low-educated and feel they’re in a difficult place. I guess buying and then exacerbating a $44B boondoggle does put one a stupid person in a difficult place.
