And if they decide to not go at the King?

Not saying that will happen but you have to admit it might be a possibility especially since it could be problematic going into tbe midterms.

I will be working tonight or I would too. GF plans to watch them.

It would be in their best interest to make them way more accessible than the Impeachment Hearings. Less wonk and more connecting of dots.
 
It's an important moment in the history of civilization; I'll be watching. We know what the fascist denial is, that doesn't matter. The substance of our defense of democracy and civilized values is what matters. That is what will be remembered.

We are at a moment where we are being asked to transcend the trauma and doubt that have accompanied Western civilization since the end of World War I. We have to regain our confidence and finally face these reactionaries. We have the entire heritage of the West's finest moments, from the Classical Greeks to the Renaissance through the Enlightenment to the movements for liberation of oppressed groups, all on our side. We fight the ape mind that still persists in a portion of our species either too cowardly or too stupid to grow up.

For my whole life we have politely danced around them, walked on egg shells, allowed them their delusions, never called them out as obsolete, useless detritus. In large swaths of the country they even rule. We have to be rid of them, finally. We have to stand up and say no more. No compromising with people just because they are ignorant or vicious. That doesn't constitute a valid argument for representation and political power. They do not fit the requirement to be citizens, they lack the basic moral and mental abilities.

He confesses out in the open. Yet, Garland does nothing. They were going to arrest Nixon. That got circumvented by two events.

1. He resigned.
2. Ford, his replacement, pardoned him.

This guy should be arrested, assumed a flight risk, and rotting in jail for however long this takes.

This history won't be written in history books or taught in schools. It will be forbidden and whitewashed. Instead children will learn how Joe Biden stole the election and was our illegitimate president for a few years until the heroic MAGAts removed him from power and restored Dump. Then he turned it into a dictatorship for the good of the people. Woke snowflakes can't steal the election if there's no election.

History is written (and taught) by the winners.
