Pence's top legal advisor spoke to the Jan 6 committee today for NINE HOURS!!! He attended two meetings with Pence where Eastman was pushing for Pence to not certify Biden electors, and emailed to himself a contemporaneous collection of notes detailing what was said during those meetings.

Oooooh, this gonna be good.

I mean Dump already admitted he was trying to subvert the election. I don't know why we need anything else, just get the rope.
 
How often does Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory enter into the discussion of the far right and what motivates its members? It seems a useful insight into such things as the sorry social wellness data on deep red states, the attitude that members of the far right seem to have regarding covid protection issues, and the claim that liberals just do not understand how to even address the needs of that large group of people on the right. It is probably a gross oversimplification to say that the two groups simply occupy different levels of the pyramid, but there sure appears to be some truth to it.

Maslow's theory may be in disfavor now--it's been that long since I would have studied it.
