I've been rug-pulled too. I'm just hoping garland has the world's most chapped asshole and the world's longest memory. I have this mental image of him waking up every morning and thinking, "I actually have to work for a living because of these goddam republicans. I could have been lounging around in a robe all day, job for life, arguing about legal theory. I'm gonna git these fuckers."

If Garland felt like this he wouldn't be a Democrat. Instead he's like his boss and is convinced there are good people on both sides of the aisle he can work with and in the end the American people will come through. I expect trump and virtually every republican in the country to see good in white supremacists and fascists. Virtually all of them ARE white supremacists and fascists. It is in many ways worse when people on our side parrot a similar line, albeit for very different reasons. If Democrats do not exhibit the same naked, raw power and win at all costs and win for winning's sake mentality, we will fix nothing. It's an ugly notion but look at where we are.

If the 2000 election had been run in 2020, with the republican winning a narrow victory only after the supreme court had to rule on stopping a recount, republicans in power would have then eviscerated any tiny notion that there could be a legal challenge to a percieved republican victory and removed every any legal options they could in every state they could, as well as at the federal level. We try to debate the facts, they bring guns to the debate and shoot people.

Remember "American Hero" Representative Rusty Bowers who testified about Trump's scheme and has been praised for standing up to it...he still says he will vote for Trump if he is the nominee.

We have to stop pretending, just because these twats are saving their own azz, that they are heroes. If given the chance they will all let this happen again because they just hate Democrats that much.
 
If Garland is still pretending there are good people in the Republican Party he's an idiot. The good people on that side of the aisle are no longer part of that party. I can point you to anyone in the Lincoln Project for example. They do not work for the Republican Party anymore. And none of them were in the Trump Administration.
 
You should cause everyone knows the lower you are on the ladder of power the more like the bus runs you over. The street level dealers go to jail more than the mid level guys or the cartel heads.

As we've stated a thousand times around here the people in this country are fucking stupid. So, if the orange idiot told them to do something and they did it you can be assured it wasn't entire voluntary.

But.......but.....it was a grand historical moment! 1776 all over again, when a small, hearty group of patriotic Americans would stand up and overthrow a corrupt, tyrannical government!!!

Of course they had to document that. For posterity. They were the heroes in their own story.
