Having lived briefly in Chapel Hill, this is not an exaggeration. You might have to go back to Huey Long to find somebody who so many people in one state just utterly worshiped. Former Senator Akaka is the only other guy I can think of so through-and-through beloved in his state.

I hear they took a bunch of recruits out for dinner and even though they ordered water, all the players wound up with wine.

And those "escorts" weren't really nuns.

I don't watch SNL anymore and wanted to see why someone said Jon Lovitz was dead. Thought I'd post the link so no one else wasted time and could see that wonderful gif.
