The Dead Thread 2024

In the 80s it was health clubs, in the 90s it was bookstores and martial arts (Billy Banks/Tae Bo), and in the 2000s it was, "I have a personal trainer and go to boot camp."
The 80's were all about the VHS tapes. Richard Simmons, Cindy Crawford and of course Jane Fonda.

For New England sports fans of a certain age, the radio program "The Sports Huddle" on WBZ and later WEEI radio (both in Boston) was a must show to listen to. In many ways it pioneered sports talk radio. It was informative. It was entertaining. It was funny. The three guys that made it happen were Eddie Andelman, Jim McCarthy and Mark Witken. Sadly Eddie Andelman has passed away:
