MTU has to play a team which has a Belt which it is legible to get. For MTU those are The Belt, the WCHA Belt, the Michigan Belt, the D-II Play-up Belt, and the Play-up Belt. As potternmu stated, MTU is next up for the D-II Play-up Belt. There probably are many ways that MTU can get a shot at the WCHA Belt and several for The Belt (one would be if UMD holds it until they meet). As to the Michigan Belt, amazingly WMU is not scheduled to play a single other Michigan school this season.

MTU has of course held numerous Belts over the years. See the first several posts in this thread. I can add that MTU most recently held The Belt from 03/02/2013, when they defeated SCSU, until 03/09/2013, when they lost to Colorado College.
