The Battle for the Imaginary Cup - NMU vs. Michigan Tech, 12/18/09 and 1/12/10

Re: The Battle for the Imaginary Cup - NMU vs. Michigan Tech, 12/18/09 and 1/12/10

In lieu of the artery clogging goodness this thread has had to offer, I made an english muffin, egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich tonight that could've killed even the most experienced of eaters...
With bacon as the only meat? Doubtful. Try bacon, sausage patty, egg, double cheese sandwich with bacon wrapped sausage links for a side. And then there's my egg dog, which at the height of it's terror included a cheese-filled hot dog wrapped in bacon in a hot dog bun covered in egg and either chili or sausage gravy.

I'm not gonna make it past 30. :o :D

NMU sucks

I just realized that this may be my last NMU vs. Tech game ever.

Thanks for the memories, even if Tech did win a few of those.

You have Comcrap? And the sports package with Fox Sports College Atlantic/Central/Pacific? And CBS College Sports?

That's why you saw NMU-WMU... it was being carried on Fox Sports Detroit, and simulcast on FSC.

NMU usually makes one appearance per year on FSDetroit (or CBSCS), and it's almost ALWAYS a road game. Only TWICE have they broadcast from the Berry, it was an NMU-MSU game that was Rick Comley's first game against the 'Cats, and an NMU-FSU game where Darin Olver decided to let the game winner go past him in an empty net.

Yup. And that's why I'm disappointed that on a night with little college sports going on, I can't see this game.

Don't be disappointed you didn't see the game. That was an ugly win. I can't be too mad, it was a rivalry win at home, but I can't be too proud because that was an ugly win. Almost as ugly as the hat FM was wearing.

It doesn't matter if NMU had to pipe bomb a soup kitchen to get it. It's still a win, and for the opponent it's still a loss.

Pipe bomb a soup kitchen - is that what the young kids are calling it these days? ;)

Judging by the texts you and Twitch were sending me.....I'm now glad.

And FM is ugly because of a hat? Noooo why would I say that?! :D

In other news, Foxton's "Fire Russell" sign made its appearance, only to be confiscated early in the second, apparently on Walt's orders.
