I think I have this right.

Cornell #1, Wisconsin #2, no matter what happens tomorrow.

Northeastern #3 and Minn #4; small chance the other way around (UConn upset).

Ohio State #5 and Princeton #6, unless it is the other way around (Princeton win).

Mercyhurst #8, unless they're #7.

Clarkson #7, unless Uconn wins; then Mercyhurst #7, UConn #8, and Clarkson out.

No, "Go UConn" means Northeastern drops to #4, and Minn is #3.

(On the other hand, "Go UConn" means Clarkson gets bumped altogether, and Wisconsin plays Mercyhurst. So...)

So, the quarterfinals will be:

Cornell v either Mercyhurst or UConn
Wisconsin v either Clarkson or Mercyhurst
Northeastern v Princeton
Minnesota v OSU

Tough choice. I'll take Mercyhurst in the quarters. Clarkson, though they are a shell of their former awesomeness and a shell of themselves comparer to last year, still scares me. Kinda like in 1945 the Russians were still afraid of the Germans though the German Army was full of pre 18 yrs olds and old farts, per Hans Von Luck's book anyway.

WCHA Championship has no effect on the Pairwise now. (It is 0-0 headed to OT)

It could be that they do that so we will see tonight what the committee decides. Do they maintain bracket integrity or do they save a flight and cause OSU to have to win again on Minny home ice.

I can't see them doing that switch unless it is that much cheaper to fly where ever Mercyhurst will fly out of vs a flight from Syracuse to Wisconsin.
