The 2016-17 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2016-17 Schedules Thread

The New a Haven Register just wrote that Yale will be playing home OOC against Providence, Northeastern and Sacred Heart. Away OOC includes BU, UCONN with a trip to Notre Dame for the Shillalagh tourney with Clarkson and Holy Cross. The UCONn away game will be played in Hartford.

Rumors are saying NMU, Cornell, Merrimack, and Colorado College will take part in the Florida Everblades holiday tourney...

According to Wisconsin radio guy Brian Posick in this video (posted by UW), Wisconsin will start the season like this:

October 1st, exhibition vs. Victoria
October 7-8, @ Northern Michigan (in Green Bay)
October 14-15, home vs. Boston College

So it looks like LSSU has backed out of the Shillalagh Tourney.

Just writing what was reported, have no idea about LSSU. Here is the actual copy of the blog post from Chip Malafronte ( Yale hockey Reporter) of the NHR. Yale men’s hockey’s non-conference schedule this winter will include home games with Providence, Northeastern and Sacred Heart, road games at Boston University and UConn at the XL Center. It’ll also compete at the Notre Dame’s Shillelagh Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend with Holy Cross and Clarkson.

Re: The 2016-17 Schedules Thread

Well I'll be; had them listed. I was actually shocked when LT reported three eastern teams in this, as ND usually tries to get at least one more western team.

Maybe someone has the wrong year?

Maybe someone has the wrong year? BTW anyone looking to make it a cool road trip, ND football is in town against Duke on Thanksgiving.

Football shows being away at USC that weekend. And if they were in town, good luck finding parking. The ice arena and football stadium are close by. Also good luck with lodging, as they jack up the prices a LOT.

You are right , I was looking at September for some reason.

Re: The 2016-17 Schedules Thread

From what I've heard, Minnesota State will have separate home and home series with Minnesota Duluth and Minnesota.

UMN TBD.

UMD October 7 and 8.
