I would agree with that guess; it's been quite a while (I think) since Clarkson played a game the week before Christmas. And the last weekend of October is usually Parents Weekend, and they usually host a non-conference opponent.

I see only one home game vs Michigan listed. Is the other PSU home game at a neutral site somewhere?

PSU loses the Basketball home game so Michigan will most likely lose 1 of their 2 home Hockey games against PSU.

It would appear that Penn State also loses the home hockey game.

Regarding Maine: If I had to take a guess, Union/Maine would probably be 16-17 October, with Colgate the weekend after. Not sure when Quinnipiac would happen, maybe mid-January while Princeton has their exams.

Yes. LSSU will play North Dakota in the early game and Maine will play Michigan State in the later game Friday. As for Saturday, LSSU will play Michigan State in the early game and then Maine will play North Dakota in the later game.
