I'm sure they'll be an investigation and rumors that Pete Carroll sent in a different play but the Patriots somehow intercepted it and changed it so Wilson got the call to pass.

As of 12:30AM, Boston PD reports there have been 0 arrests. I guess after nine championships in thirteen years people in Boston have learned how to celebrate.

I guess a bit of luck in the turn of events after the last 2 SB losses.

I'm thinking most fans thought run and the game is over but Pete Carroll over thought this out. I understand his explanation after the game but the ball was only about half yard away from the goal line and you had 1 TO left. Lynch is their strength on offense and as pointed out, they wasted 40 seconds figuring out what play or plays to run next. Great if you execute the slant but worst thing is an incomplete pass but they never figured a pick and the rookie jumping the route and a game ending pick. The previous throw was an unbelievable like catch like the Tyree catch but the rookie got to redeem himself seconds later.

I would not say Brady is the greatest as that is for another discussion. Montana and Bradshaw also have the similar distinctions and achievements.

As far as the deflated ball issue, I thought Tafoya was wrong to bring that up after the game when she interviewed Kraft. I agree with Prime that the ball issue really didn't effect the previous game with the Colts as it was a blowout and even some of the players said they couldn't feel the difference in ball pressures. But some people will always bring this up to tarnish this win and organization. Goodall didn't have much to say but Kraft wants an apology if they can't find enough credible evidence that the Patriots purposely doctored the balls to effect the game.

Who is to say Rogers is cheating if his balls are over inflated which is the way he likes it as it helps him to grip the ball better if I read or heard right. There are other ways that teams can border on the edge of cheating like who is on the IR list but there are a few other ways too to get the edge.

But congrats to both teams for a very a very exciting game and great season of football.

What the puck is Mayor Walsh thinking? The Patriots victory parade is TOMORROW morning?! The team might still be in Arizona because they can't fly into Logan - or the players will be exhausted because the plane will land early in the morning. Meanwhile, the city will be digging out from a blizzard and just about everyone in the region has a snow day today and won't possibly be able to take tomorrow off. Not that they'll have anywhere to watch the parade anyway since the city will still be digging out from a blizzard.

The footballs were measured at halftime. It turns out only one was 2 PSI under, the others were "just a few ticks" under. The one ball that measured 2 PSI low? The one the Colts had possession of. And when Jackson caught it, he said it felt fine. He gave it to the equipment manager for safekeeping (first postseason interception) and only after the Colts had the ball did it come up deflated. Not that the Colts would ever cheat....
 
I can't think of a better super bowl or at least one in my lifetime. Russell wilson has ice water in his veins and if anyone can catch brady....

I can see not waiting till Saturday (which is when they should have it) but jeez. How about Wednesday???? It's one more day. The team isn't due back till tonight (and quite honestly, looking out side my window, I don't know how that will happen), the city needs to clean up just to get back to business. The extra cleaning that will need to happen to allow for all the extra people coming in to watch - well, good luck. I am not looking forward to the commute in the morning. The T was MISERABLE after last week's storm and will probably be just as awful tomorrow. Add on the people trying to get into the city for the parade....nightmare.

all the staff and players need to get out of town before the interviewing can begin.

Watched the fourth quarter again this morning, and that's about as well as football can be played, at least against a quality team.
