I'm not sure what is dumber about this whole situation...

1. The Pats getting caught cheating again.
2. NFL protocol allowing the balls to be manicured and provided by the teams and their subsequent release after pregame testing 2.5 hrs before kickoff. Christ this is dumb.
3. The NFL considering docking the Pats a draft pick for something this minor (and the subsequent media frenzy). Give Brady a 25K fine and be done with it. The Pats can fire a ball boy like Lane Kiffin did when he got caught doing it. End of story.

Right or wrong the Pats are now the UMaine* of NFL football.

nfl would be doing bellicheat a favor if they take away all their draft picks.... nobody else would take all the rutgers guys that he drafts anyway, so bill can round them up on the cheap with free agent contracts on the monday after now!

And they could make the Colts feel better by giving the Colts an extra draft choice, which they can then trade for the next Trent Richardson.

I wonder if NBC has enough cameras so that one can be focused on the Patriots ball bag the entire game.

if you bought the 'i just grab and pick the ones i like' as if nothing goes into it you are a fool.
also his 'i don't know what happens to them' is a lie. controlling over-prepared freak that he is knows every step that HIS footballs take. no way that the most important piece of equipment that he needs and is allowed to be under his control is left to chance.

you think papi just grabs any bat in the team's rack when he goes up?

Hypocritegate is what I'm calling this now. National media is now whining that no one is taking them seriously. Hilarious.

Can we please mention how the Boston media had handled this scandal? They are just as bad as Goodell's lap dogs in Bristol.
