Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Talking to my kid at his school he just settled down, my blood pressure would have broke any cuff made. Unreal game. Never thought the D could be that bad and the Pats still win

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

They couldn't stop babbling about Flacco not throwing picks. Kiss of death.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Ravens are just killing them, oh well Wait till next year:)

Scarlet?

No matter who the Pats play next week, it'll be a horse. The local glue factory has been alerted.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Harbaugh beeching about the "ineligible" receiver play. Personally, kudos to the Pats for knowing the rules and using them to their advantage.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

One more time they get to the championship AFC game and I like their chances either vs Denver or Indy. Baltimore somehow managed to lose that game with 14 point leads twice.

Brady had his moments but still managed to get the winning score last when it counted. The last Raven drive and Hail Mary at the end was a nail biter.

Why wasn't Blount used ?

Not having a pass rush exposes their weakness but they had the bend but not break defense. Very opportune pick at the end by the Pats.

Wonder what the average ticket will be next week ?

I would guess it's because Josh figured out early that the Ravens run defense was going to shut down the rushing game, so go with the pass. Was it 50 attempts for Brady?

As someone with Edelman and Gronkowski in both FanDuel leagues, I approve :)

I think Brady led team in rushing and thats about as funny a thing as you'll read in a football stat. I think Amendola gets a game ball, picked a great time to have his best game as a Patriot

Going into the playoffs, I thought Pittsburg would be the toughest obstacle, but since the Ravens dispatched them, they became that team. yeah, the pats can still lose, but neither Denver nor Indy really terrify me.

It depends on which team shows up. IND and DEN both can be phenomenal, or horrid. Never know from week to week. I liken them to the Bengals team this year. No consistency, really.

Yup, and the issue for Pats fans (hopefully not the team and coaching staff) is that the Broncos and Colts we've seen this year have been the bad Broncos/Colts. There's going to be some serious complacency this week. I think it is fair to say that of the teams the Pats could have faced, the Ravens were the most difficult matchup for the Pats, but the Colts and Broncos can both be a lot better than when they played the Pats in the regular season.

In this game they've both been horrid. I hope the Pats are complacent, but after the Dual Eli Deaths I find it hard to believe they will be.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

I would have rather had Peyton come to Gillette. Luck is a young gun, sooner or later he is going to win the big one. Hopefully not this year.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

I can't take credit for it, but one of my Facebook friends had this to say re: Peyton.

"Super Bowl I will not play"

Give it a minute, you'll get it. And then laugh hysterically.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Waiting on the third....thing (not sure what else to call it) to completely set me over the edge and cement my belief there is no chance for a Pats win this weekend. Here are the first two:

1. Julian Edelman has a tshirt now with The Pass on it. Really? Why? One play? No need for that and it just means it probably won't ever happen again.
2. Tom Brady Facebook post of him riding the Colts logo. Do not like. It's bulletin board material. Am not suprised to see it, just surprised it was his Facebook account.

Glad the game is at night so I won't have to stress during the BU-Lowell game worrying about consistent game updates!!

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Great game until I read WEEI saying NFL looking at PATS for deflating game balls? Not sure how that helps you but its disgusting if true. Why would they need to do anyway playing the Colts?

Except the referees handle the ball for every play. Wouldn't they have notice lower pressure balls?

And, come to think of it, aren't the balls under league control some time before the game?

I have to think that's full of snark... what gets me is I assumed the league had control of the balls and things like that. If it was that big of a deal then wouldn't deal with it themselves.

Things not worth getting worked up over...

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Of course the NFL isn't going to deflate this controversy (PUN!) by commenting on it. No, they'll just let to get it completely out of hand like they did with Spygate (minor rules violation, that), the Saint's headhunting, Ray Rice in the elevator, player concussions, stabby Ray Lewis, etc.

Is Sepp Blatter running the league?
