Tennis anyone?

I love watching tennis, and lately, I decided to give playing it a try—such a fun challenge! To help me practice, I’ve been looking into tools like DribbleUp. They have smart training equipment that seems perfect for beginners. If you’re interested, you can reach their customer service at their phone number to learn more.

How does one report spam? I don't see anything other than "quote" or "like" for posts. This is clearly spam advertising and well outside if what is ok to post here.

I just block them. But yeah blocking someone is a PITA too on this board.

Can you please share the phone number for us? I live in Azerbaijan but I'm on the border so sometimes my phone connects towers in Armenia, sometimes in Georgia, and occasionally in Jacksonville.

Same. Then I remember she’s married to a right wing billionaire

Sorry to go back but can you elaborate? The interweb says she's married to Tom Golisano, and I'm not seeing any super right wing part of him being a billionaire. Other than being a billionaire. Then again, his wiki page stops in 2018 WRT his politics.

Last time I looked him up- a long time ago!- he was deeply conservative. Now I see he leans libertarian and calls humbled independent.

he despises taxes, but clearly doesn’t seem to e a notable right wing exclusive donor anymore. Huh.

Yeah, there's been a number of issues with him paying his property taxes in some Rochester towns...

But he has funded a ton of buildings at the U of Rochester hospital and RIT, including the new rink which he named after a childhood friend and business partner.

Watching the US Open match between Gauff and Vekic and it's like torture to watch these professional athletes struggle like this. Gauff is struggling with her serve really, really badly, and it's really getting in her head. And Vekic has an injury, and is clearly getting in her head. They are struggling so, so, so much.

8 Match Points lost. 8. I don't think I have ever been that crushed by a sporting event that wasn't Minnesota losing some playoff of some sort.
It sucks but I think just calling it 8 is kind of misleading. The way tennis works is that the server has the advantage, and Taylor was not serving on most of those 8 points. IMHO, the saddest part was that she had the win on her racket being up a point in the tie breaker. That was tough. But being up one point with the other person serving- that's less hard to be bummed about- just part of the game.

And while the rankings for this tournament had it Townsed much higher, we can't overlook that this would have been Taylor's first time in the quarter finals as a singles player, whereas Kreiokova has won two majors (most recent 2024 Wimbledon). Injuries really mess up realistic rankings as players are recovering.

It certainly sucked that she lost- pretty awesome progress through the tournament. She still has doubles, where her team is #1 in this tournament.

I get the advantage part but it was still 8 losses. She was also a break up in the second set. And I was crushed along with the entire crowd. I hope Pegula slaugters Kreiokova.

Bummer for Coco, but she is still on her way back from some real mental issues that has gotten to her after the French Open. Seems like winning that piled on a TON of pressure that she could just not deal with, and it permeated into her game. There was some real recovery, but she ran into a buzzsaw with Naomi- who in on her own way back.
