Also, IMHO...there is no way there are eight goals in the M'Ville/Elmira game...teams play too similar of styles...My guess is 1-0 or 2-1.

FYI if you have TWCable in Central/Upstate NY (let's not debate THAT again...) and prefer television over your laptop, WTOP's coverage of Plattsburgh v Oswego SUNYAC final will be on digital channel 1500...Pre-game starts at 6p.

Yes, but I would never acknowledge that feeling in a Pick 'Em.

I'm sure you're right about the other game. As long as M'ville crushes your EC spirit. That way you can root wholeheartedly for the Lakers in the NCAAs.

Announced today that the game is a sellout!!!!! Including student seating and standing room only tickets. let's Go Laker's!!!!!!!

I will be there. I'm proud to have standing room only tickets(that way people cant tell me to sit down).CC is sold out and it will be crazy(not Romney Crazy, but CRAZY enough).It will be hard for my GREAT Lakers to win three on the Patty Birds,but we are talking about a GREAT GREAT Laker Team that can beat the odds. I say its 5-4 Lakers skate away with the championship :D and the auto bid to the NCAA tourney. The Patty's :mad: use 2 goalies and empty the net in a desperate effort. This night will be Green and gold.

Now to keep my wonderful Wife, best friend, and Lady Soaring Eagle happy I will pick Elmira 3-1.

If this game wasn't against Plattsburgh I doubt it would have sold out.

Oswego hosted Norwich in 2007 NCAA quarterfinals (biggest game played at the CC to date) and the student section was half full. I think announced crowd was 2,200-2,500?

Plus this is the first time Oswego has hosted the SUNYAC finals since 2003.

It was inevitable that the game would sell out - it's Plattsburgh after all :cool: . The townies certainly did their part on Wednesday to help pick up a chuck (no beef there with some local support) - what's interesting was how the earlier January rivalry sold out in a day while this one took, what, at least 3, 4 :confused: ? I would still say that many students dragged their feet on this, but whats done is done. Most likely with a NCAA game next weekend on the brink of spring break though...figure not too many people will attend that one.

Make room on the wagon - someone just yelled "WHITEOUT 2!" and there's a cloud of dust in the distance now :eek: . Rumor is it's bigger and better...

If there is an ncaa game next Saturday, there may be plenty of seats with school on break Friday and dorms closed Saturday...
