Not to say the blizzard warning isn't an issue, but there is really only one reason. It could be sunny and in the 80s, but without compressors, they aren't playing a game.

Portable compressor trailer was enroute last night. Let’s hope they made it before the ****storm arrived. They start making ice today.

That's not my point. No matter what the weather is, there isn't going to be a game on Saturday for one reason -- no ice.

I know what you are saying, this just makes it worse. Genneso may be a tough destination for the Bears as well. You have to go through it to get there.

I've been thinking the same thing. I know Potsdam was planning on traveling down Friday evening.

(And the SUNYAC basketball tournament is at Brockport. Potsdam and Oswego need to get there, along with Oneonta.)

Simple solution to the problem: Street hockey game!!! Or even better, play on roller blades! That would really add a new twist to the rivalry.

I actually threw the bagel that caused the penalty in the final game at Romney and Platty scored on ensuing power play.

They did a really nice job redoing the place. It’s been very beneficial for the baseball team for practices in the winter. I think some people forget the baseball team has won three SUNYAC championships in a row!

I think the Lakers have a better road record this year than a home record so maybe they should play it on the road. Just not at Hobart. Tuesday at the MCC will be just fine. I hope the students show up in full force. One and done from here on out. Plattsburgh scares me even on a down year.
