Sunday 11/29/09 Scores

Re: Sunday 11/29/09 Scores

Michigan Hockey having a rough season with the start they had getting swept by Miami and Michigan State as well as losing BOWLING GREEN...

Now they lose their stud goaltender in Campbell and another recruit?

Their chance to win the NC was two seasons ago but Billy Sauer decided to crap the bed against Notre Dame in the Frozen Four to kill their chances.

Not another recruit. A player currently on the team. Robbie Czarnik left Michigan last week and is now playing for the Plymouth Whalers in the OHL. And apparently academics were not an issue.

Maybe they're getting the ship righted now. They just swept Minnesota and Wisconsin while MSU lost to both teams. Granted Minnesota and Wisconsin aren't their usual selves this season, but you've got to start somewhere, I suppose.

Can some Hobart fan or Biggar find out what the deal is with DeCroo? Out again tonight vs Cortland...Injury? Suspension? They sure miss his presence out there.

I can't believe how far Hobart has fallen this year.

Salem State and the SUNYAC teams keep grinning more and more.

The ECAC West will get one team in AT MOST this year. Looks like a two horse race between Manhattanville and Elmira at this point.

I saw they picked up those two wins. Minnesota has been meh for a little awhile now. Any reason why the Gophers can't seem to get back to the elite lately?

Wisconsin win looks better on paper as the Badgers had a winning record atleast.

I still need to get out to Yost sometime soon...

Might be tough though starting my new job in Gloversville next Monday making entry level at best sports reporter money.:o

Czarnik was playing for Team USA tonight against Bowdoin..

No, no. There's two of them. You saw Austin Czarnik tonight. That's Robbie's cousin, I believe. Austin just decommitted from Michigan State a month ago. I was certain he was ticketed for Ann Arbor until all this happened.

I stand corrected..it WAS Austin Czarnik, just made an assumption that there wouldn't be two Czarniks:o

Re: Sunday 11/29/09 Scores

Based on 2 years of data, PSU would win against most ECAC-NE teams and lose to most Interlock teams. I would think it would be not close against PSC or OSW -- the rest of the SUNYAC - who knows?

I agree with your point completely. Guess I miss seeing the Icers - I haven't seen them play in almost 15 years now!
