Last week St. Norbert looked much better. I think the team is starting to play as a team and make much better outlet passes and putting more pressure on the net. This week is against Aurora who are new to D3. May be a breakout game for SNC players as it's a pretty big jump from club for Aurora. Looking forward to tonight.

Is Pavek injured or has he recently been a healthy scratch?

I like his game, but maybe some of the new big boys bring similar stuff to the table...

He got injured in the first game and has been out. I heard he's doing much better and is skating with the team and is close to returning. He'd be a great addition.

Gotta say that was an impressive win vs. Stevens Point. From my internet vantage it looked like a domination of sorts. The shot differential was quite large and offensive zone possession time was greatly in SNC's favor.

Loved the big crowd and atmosphere at SP from what I could tell. Was a big game for both teams and thought the environment reflected the passion of the fans.

As an SNC fan I'm pretty happy about how the season's going.

The guys are in the bus...and I just had to say it...are shufflin' off to Buffalo!

Looks like Buffalo State has a decent team. I hope their internet broadcast is good. Anyone know?

I wouldn't go so far as decent. St Norbert should walk away with W's. Anything less would be dissapointing IMO.

Id say good to slightly below average unless they've changed this year. But their pretzels will make the trip worth it alone....

Looks like they're going to get some pretty good weather in Buffalo as well. I know my son's going to miss being with his family for Thanksgiving but he's bonded with the guys on the team so it shouldn't be too bad. I have no idea what they're going to do all day tomorrow...except eat and watch the Packers' game I'm sure!

Buffalo State has a winning record. I don't know how strong the teams they played are but a winning record says something doesn't it?

Not really. Potsdam was undefeated 6-0-0 until Saturday when they lost 7-1 to Plattsburgh. If they were playing say Hobart, Oswego, Plattsburgh, Norwich, Trinity, or maybe even a Utica team I'd say a split would be a good weekend. Buff State lost to Plattsburgh just 4-2 but the game wasn't really that close. Maybe a MSOE or Marian type team. A team you should beat but can be pesky. A typical SNC team should have no issue beating Buff State.

As far as what to do? Buffalo is playing Nashville tonight. I know some teams have gone to the games. Other teams have hit up the Galleria Mall. Some have raced a Poll Position Raceway. Then there's the usual trip to Niagara Falls most new teams take. The 716 Sports Bar is off the hook.

I saw on the Buff State website a Timmy's ad so I think they still have them. For his sake I hope so! This past week my other son was in Columbus OH and they have Tim's there and he took a picture of himself being inside one just to make us all jealous.

They saw Eichel score a goal, and got some Timmy's coffee at the arena.

I don't think coach Cogs would let them take any team lightly, especially one with a winning record.
