Well, we got the kiss of death so to speak and we were picked to sweep this weekend by 5-2 and 6-3 scores. Let's get the job done boys, matching these picks would certainly be a successful weekend, that's for sure!![]()
Well, the pick for Friday was "only" off by 7 goals.
That was . . . well, I probably shouldn't say how I really felt. Of all games to see in person. I think quite a few things need to change tomorrow. For starters, SLU just can't get out-competed.
On the surface it looks like he will be coming in with 2.5 years of eligibility and will likely need to sit out the first half of next year. Stats and his info are here:

It appears he is an offensive minded defenseman. Boy this SLU team and future teams are stacked at defense and half lots of depth!
Congrats to all on this commitment!
Well.........Tim and I sat there at Gutterson like two bumps on a log. Nothing to cheer about, not a thing to feel positive about.
As a fan.......one hate's to be overly critical about your team...........but, it's comforting when your coach puts exactly your sentiments into words.

I'm reading reports that the McDonalds in Canton is closing. Does this impact your goalie situation?

Hey does anyone know the deal with Brian Ward? He is listed as a senior on USCHO/StL website but according to elite prospects he's only in his 3rd year. Is this a situation like Carmine Guerrierio where he played juniors as a 21yo so his clock started his last year at Tri-City?
Transfer from Dartmouth
After one year with Tri-City, Ward appeared poised to play at Dartmouth. But during the summer before he started classes, Ward injured his back while working. The injury lingered into the fall, and Ward was not healthy enough to play. When he did return, Ward practiced with the Big Green but did not participate in any games. After one semester in Hanover, he made the difficult decision to leave Dartmouth and return to play with Tri-City.....http://valleypatriot.com/ward-commits-to-st-lawrence-keeps-nhl-dream-alive/Thanks since he never played a game, Dartmouth didn't make it on elite prospects I guess.
