Got a committment from '98 Forward Kaden Pickering (Madrid, NY), out of Northwood. Reports say he looked very good at the Select-16 camp this summer, where another North Country kid, Jordan Robert, looked very good as well and has committed to Clarkson. There's a couple more local kids staying local, great to see.
It looks like Pickering would be enrolling in the fall of 2017.
I wrote up the Pickering commitment as well as Henry Bowlby, who committed last month, today: http://overtheboards.net/st-lawrences-saints-net-up-and-comers-henry-bowlby-and-kaden-pickering/
I haven't caught Pickering but hear good things. Northwood has a strong influx of talent recruited to Lake Placid this year. Bowlby is one of the biggest 'late-bloomers' in Minnesota, coming out of powerhouse Edina, and he's really come on strong the last nine months..
GREAT WIN ST. LAWRENCE !!!!!
Please ...... one more ..... I had you sweeping !!!!
It's not over yet! Still 5-2 SLU with about 14:00 to go in the 3rd.
UVM fan here.. nice job tonight. SLU is my favorite ECAC team.. looking forward to our series this year.
Not sure if any of you guys saw it, but Flanagan was the target of a brutal and high hit over in the SEL the other day. Hope he recovers quickly and gets back to playing.

I agree, and it will be even more amazing if he doesn't have to stop as many as he's had to-this poor kid must be getting shell-shocked. Great gut-check win, beautifully spread out scoring, especially among the underclassmen (oh what a future!) And Horn says hello just 1:53 into his 1st game--thank you Minnesota. But we've got to give Hayton some help and cut back on the SOG's. (although Miami is a high SOG team.) No matter what happens, it looks like it will be a very entertaining season and I can't wait for Gluchowski and Purmal return. Some random comments.
Amazing what can happen when a goalie stops everything he should and some he shouldn't.
