Women swept this weekend, will be traveling to QU for playoffs as the 5th seed.
If we both win--rounds 5 & 6!
And that scares me.

Wouldn't it be just round 5? By then, it's just 1 game I think.If we both win--rounds 5 & 6!

Not necessarily true, I think. Y'all will play the lowest remaining seed, so it could be whoever is 6 or 7, should they pull the upset on Cornell/Harvard. Unlikely, but who knows.

If we were Colgate, it should scare you. SLU has not had much luck in Potsdam over the years............so, that's the last matchup I want.
My best guess is that we play Brown in the first round; not exactly a good matchup either but we'll be fine no matter who we play (see wins vs. ranked teams) if we bring our A-game this weekend and beyond.
Just turned off another game halfway through because I can't stomach it.
0-4 on PP, and 0-4 on PK, with more than a period left to play. I am speechless.

Recruiting - curious as to why SLU has not recruited from local CCHL junior league for several years now. Clarkson, Colgate continue to get key players from this league. Many great Saints players have come from this league in the past. ??
Just keep on fighting. There is nothing else to do.
I left at 4-0 also.
From what I see, we still have a good chance for a series. We beat Princeton, Union beats Brown, Cornell beats Harvard, and Colgate beats Dartmouth. All are quite possible and our fate is our hands and the hands of 3 of the top 4 teams in the league (two of whom are playing at home.) This gives an 8th seed and a home stand against Brown. Then again, maybe we want to be on the road and the underdog.
