Carey and Flanigan are studs. St. Lawrence was better and faster all around and certainly better coached.

Great win by SLU. All the ****ing and moaning over on the Maine thread. Nothing about how good SLU played only about how it's Whiteheads fault. How can they lose to an EZAC team. Well EZAC > Hokey Least last night in Orono.[/QUOTE
I read the Maine thread before this one and you'd think the world is coming to an end by some of the comments there. Sounds like many posting there expect the Black Bears to go undefeated and win the NCAA'$ each year. That's sad.

Muskieman no but four no shows in a row at NCAA tournament after a run of a bunch in a row with multiple frozen four trips is unacceptable.

And, the last time we played Maine was in 2009 in Portland, where we lost 10-1. Nice turnaround this time around.

Well thank you. We were dreading this trip because of this fact. Why travel this far and sweep a team that isn't what it used to be.....
Has anyone fiund any video clips of the Maine games? I kind of don't believe Maine could be as bad as their thread says they are. And even if they are that bad, how long has it been since SLU had a two game sweep over any Hockey East competition with a 9 goal net differential? If ever. Great weekend. Bring on Alabama! (that just doesn't sound right btw). Kyle Flanagan for Hobey.

After reading all of the heartache and heartbreak from the Maine fans, I wonder if they understand St.Lawrence Hockey. It's not as if they lost to some first year program without any tradition. Not once did I read "giving credit where credit is due" from their fans. We are not some bottom feeder program, at least recognize you lost to a pretty solid program. Gee Whiz.

Yes we all do realize the Maine team we played is not of the caliber Black Bears fans are used to. However...two wins at Alfond against any Maine team is an accomplishment. Carey and Flanny are the real deal. I just hope and pray they both can stay healthy.
As others have mentioned it sure would be nice to see some replays or highlights. Anyone have a link to see any of the goals or highlights???

Great weekend Saints! A job very well done! To sweep a weekend series from Maine,in their building, is quite an accomplisment. Now lets build on this for when we go into league play in a few weeks.
