There is nothing with saying the team or player needs improvement even after a win. You make it sound like I came on here and lit the team up for how they played last night. I said I would take the win, so I am not sure what you are squaking about?

Can't just enjoy a win, first words out of your mouth are always negative.
It's what I've come to expect and despise out of you.
You look for the flaws, and it just gets old.

TB is negative as hell sometimes, sure, but this wasn't one of them. He said they need to play better tonight. That was true. He said that Lee played well, and then said that the one goal was soft (not gonna get into whether it was or not, didn't see it). Did you miss the part where he said Lee played well? That's as complimentary as he's gonna get.

And you bring up what you despise about TB... well what we despise about you is that someone could pee on your leg and you'd write eloquent words about what a nice rain there is today. (That and depending on which board I'm on, remember which gender you like to be referred to as)

TB's right, at this point in time glad to have the 2 points, but we need some momentum, so they need to bring their A game tonight and distance themselves from Beavdom.

Not to mention, as bad a first half as we've had, we'd amazingly only be a point out of the last home ice spot. Now I know we lose the tiebreaker with CC if we end up tied, but with the Gophers do we win that because of goals for/against in that two game series?

Won't deny I'm an optimist, but if someone is peeing on me, they're going to get hit.
Momemtum can also come from just winning.
It'd be nice to "look good" but it isn't neccessary, the points are more important than "looking good."

Nice win for the Huskies.

Indeed. I couldn't believe the referee was pumping his arm at the net indicating a goal. Couldn't see how we scored in OT. Definitely good highlight reel material.

Skied all day at Afton Alps. Awesome snow conditions.

Looking for another big win.

I wasn't saying we didn't have momentum, I meant momentum completely dies had we lost tonight. Had we played like we did last night, then any outcome was possible. We needed to come out and finish strong, which we did. I'm sorry, but a comeback against Cornell, a quirky win over Miami where we hang on for dear life, sweeping Tech at home, and fortunately getting a bounce in OT in Bemidji aren't exactly quality wins. Going into Bemidji and laying down the law and putting up the first 5 goals is the best game we've had in this run. Had we lost, particularly if we'd lost in poor fashion tonight, then we'd have no momentum, but after tonight they've gotta be flying high, knowing home ice is now in sight.

Well two whoopings, and two OT games that could've gone either way and one goes each team's way. We'll call that a series. Good luck to you the rest of the way Beavs.

SCSU's stock is definitely on the rise - great game by the red and black Saturday night. Looks like you'll be battling for home ice and should be a good series vs. MSU.

BSU, on the other hand, decided not to show up Saturday and/or play D and will be fighting to stay out of the bottom three to avoid the Sioux, Bulldogs or Pioneers.

How did that Friday prediction compare to what happened last night?

Always good to see the Black sweaters with the St. C on the ice. Wish they'd wear them more often.
