as i said, officiating like that makes it difficult to get fully invested in women's hockey

Agreed. That was a disgrace.

Canada is a very deserving gold medalist, but that was an awful, awful ending for women's hockey.

What a horse**** slashing call made by the chicken**** ref.

Then she was forced to call the more legit penalty on Knight which ended the game.

Clown show.

would have been even nicer to have seen that puck bounce off the post into the empty net instead of ricochet away, and have a 3 - 1 scoreline at the end of regulation. :(

Also an abysmal change by team USA on the Knight penalty which left no d-man on the ice and forced Knight to take the sorta-penalty.

I think they were referring to the whole Olympics, not this game in particular.

Thanks. They did a good job. Bret Hedican was speechless towards the end, especially with the OT calls made.

It wasn't US biased either, Hedican was unloading on calls that screwed Canada too.

Hedican is Canadian, and of course his wife is Kristi Yamaguchi.

I agree, Dineen outcoached Stone and just playing not to lose mentality is what cost them in the end. The last 10 minutes of of regulation was brutal. They let Canada dictate play and it cost them dearly.

The Swiss are very happy with the bronze )

Girls smile, you gave your best. Be proud of your silver and can't act like sore sports. Disappointiing but that's life.

Yea, I was wondering the same thing... But then again, NBC doesn't make much sense with their Olympic scheduling...

Although I will admit that I'm having a hard time finding a place to go watch tomorrow... I figured more bars & restaurants would be all over this too...
