Re: SNC 2010-11 Regular Season Thread

the only time I ever rooted for Oz is when they played Adrian.

I'm fairly certain Remy can say the same thing. I, on the other hand, couldn't bring myself to root for Oswego (much as I tried to convince with the Green and Gold Siena cap I was wearing), and by the 10:00 of the first period, I was enthusiastically cheering for Adrian.

Yeah, that didn't go so well.

Re: SNC 2010-11 Regular Season Thread

So how are folks looking at this weekend? I think they have to come out and get a win tonight and then see if they can snag another point on Saturday. I may be slightly disappointed if they come away with 2 points, I'll be happy with 3, and I'll be thrilled with 4.

O'Brien was razor sharp in the opener against Stout. I'm hoping to see that again. Point has quite a bit of size to contend with but I think the addition of Perry, the return of Langford, and the improvement of Stroh will help counteract that on the forward lines. On D I'm somewhat concerned because Tikka and Nopper were very strong going against bigger forwards and while I like the D-core overall I'm not sure they've figured out how to get their play in the D zone replaced yet.

Whats the word on Favreau? If he suits up this weekend it will only improve the D.

I'll take it. Get at least a point tomorrow and it will be a very successful weekend. That Pulak-Longley-Ryd line is flat out getting it done.
