And what do you know, we get screwed by the refs. When you go on the power play, the faceoff is ALWAYS in the zone.

This one comes down to the dreaded third period. We came out so slow in the second but seemed to get it all together as the period went on. The officials unfortunately are going to decide this one. They have been horribly inconsistent so far allowing everything and then calling something minor. We have got to control those free skating SLU defensemen and get the puck out to center faster.

This game is getting REALLY out of hand, and the refs may just decide this one.

Women losing 6-1 after 2 periods :(, so I think that I can close that one out and focus on the men's game.

Exactly. And #24 just has to get in the right position at the point to keep pucks in the SLU zone when we have the pressure on.

That was refreshing. We screwed up a couple odd man rushes by not shooting at all. The radio crew criticized Melanson for shooting but at least he got it on net and there was a rebound and we drew a penalty.

Eh, the slashing on RPI #12 gets called 99% of the time. Broken stick as a result of a slash is a clear sign to the ref, whether that's the correct way to judge that or not is neither here nor there. It's how it currently is.

The boarding on Melancon I'm not sure I/we had a good view of on the video. I truthfully don't remember seeing it clearly.

The lone penalty on Ward after the fracas was deserved, I don't really have an issue with SLU coming out on the PK, although I feel there should have been atleast a matching set in addition to an extra penalty to SLU. Maybe nitpicking there a bit, but /shrugs.

They've frankly let too much go, and I fear the 3rd could be a penalty parade to make up for it. Or somebody gets hurt, because that's where this is headed.
