They will have plenty of practice after this weekend so we will get them back on track. Especially if they can stay away from the retailiation penalties and keep the parade of Sioux to the box going to keep driving up the power play percentage

Gophers should put up 10+ goals this weekend easily. Neither game will be in doubt after the 2nd period, as the Gophers sweep the series.

with the way the Sioux have played thus far this is going to be the outcome... if it doesn't it will be a huge upset

I was in Minneapolis for the 5-1 loss and 3-3 tie. I hope i'm not disappointed like that again. Just realized I won't get to see Saturday's game on t.v. Is there going to be a tape delay on FSN?

I don't know about "huge upset". The Sioux are still a very talented team, with one of the best top lines in college hockey, and the Gophers are very inexperienced defensively. I would call a Sioux sweep an upset, but I don't think a split would be. In fact, I'm predicting it.

Yeah, nothing about this series would surprise me. A sue win or sweep would not be an upset in anyone's book. At least it shouldn't be for Gopher fans and if they do consider that an upset then they are very much underestimating the sue and a rivalry series IMO.

scoobs doesn't understand the term... anyone who has watched both of these teams plays can clearly see who is better right now, and this team is also at home this weekend.
