Not really, we have a wireless camera system that we can hook up to keep an eye on things in the foaling stall when things start getting close. This one we didn't need it for. She really wasn't due until the 10th, but mom went out new years day for evening chores and saw that there was some extra legs out in the indoor arena where the Mother was out for the day.
