Should UND fans wearing Fighting Sioux gear be denied admission to NCAA arenas?

Re: Should UND fans wearing Fighting Sioux gear be denied admission to NCAA arenas?

So getting away from the pointless, rehashed for the 152nd time, argument this thread has become. A protest was held today by UND fans who want the University to remain with no nickname and are angry over how this entire mess has been handled. As you can see from the picture in the article, due to weather the protest was not as well attended as organizers probably hoped. In fact the "No Nickname" Protest appears to have drawn more LARPers than "No Nickname" protesters. Hilarious.

keep us informed because I want to vote on your new mascot.

Re: Should UND fans wearing Fighting Sioux gear be denied admission to NCAA arenas?

Exactly. The tribe itself didn't get a say in the whole matter, and **** it, even if the tribe and the reservation is all legally a separate nation and all, but **** it, that's just downright unAmerican!

Yes they did get an effing say ffs. Their effing chief decided (as was/is his effing right under their system of governance). He speaks for the tribe. That's how effing chiefdom works. Tough crap if you don't like it. They got a say. Continuing to pretend they didn't is pure nonsense.

And to be an American criticizing ANY other system of governance sure takes some massive cajones. The American democratic system is an effing farce and you criticize these aboriginal people for using their own method to reach a decision? You're either blinded by mindless patriotism or just stupid.

and that's why the US government had to step in and maintain peace among the tribes, same reason the Feds had to step in and fight Italian organized crime back in the 60's & 70's. In the modern world there is no place for uncivilized thugs like that

yes it does, it is obvious you are lacking in that department

A little shout out to those who really elevated the discussion on this thread in recent weeks. It is sometimes easy to forget what fine minds we have using this board.

Speaking of thugs whatever happed to the “little Darlings” sporting white hoods to a G F High school Hockey game? Nothing more than chuckles from the local’s. No wonder somebody said…”North Dakota is Canada’s Mississippi “.

And only you want to know that or are concerned and I don't know why.

It says something when I'm the mature voice posting in a thread.

Whatever paradigm you've been programmed with is AFU. You've lived in a Nazi-style fascist state your whole short life junior. You don't see it because it's all you know. You don't even know there's a red pill do you?

So first it's the weaksauce personal attacks on someone that doesn't share your narrow opinions. Then you insult them and their family. Then you call them a faggot. Now you're impugning the size of my balls.

You don't know you never had a chance.

your reading comprehension shows our tax dollars aren't a complete waste, that is encouraging

You don't even know there's a red pill do you?
But I am dismayed to see that you believe there is a red pill
apparently too much online life and not enough living in the real world
IOW, in your own words, you have taken the blue pill
