Should the scores thread continue?

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

I, for one don't miss their arrogance - besides Oswego has taken their place in many ways.

My first post on this board came when I became so frustrated with the guff that some of nonsense that the RIT crowd was passing out. Before then I just lurked.
was that a dig at the Oz faithful??

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

and over 8,600 posts later, we haven't been able to get rid of you... ;)
+1 :D ...but seriously, these threads are the only reason to come here, since Jaslow hung up his pen...neither site is burning up the reporting part of the equation... I consider these threads a great entertainment value, and that's not being arrogant in the least...;)

I still like to look in on the scores thread.i
It offers a forum to debate or share opinions.
The problem is that so many colorful posters have faded into obscurity and there just aren't very many provocative topics.

Not all Oswego fans are arrogant, but there is a certain (to use a mathematical term) subset that becomes annoying. As for the speed and reporting on d3hockey.com, new management, etc. I don't even know if they want me to continue my rankings or not. Have not heard from anyone belonging to the new order.

Adrian sucks!

There. Satisfied?

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

Since there's less action here now than there was a few years ago, if someone wants to start a thread, why on Earth would anyone want to limit that?

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

I we concentrate all the posts in fewer threads it makes each thread have more content? Only reason I can think of.

Maybe we should have a Weekly score thread instead of a daily one. Of course then we wouldn't get to read Joe's enticing titles as often.

Less colorful and fewer dust ups definitely. Good discussion still, but more often we wait for a newbie to say something stupid and then watch Remy take him down and make him cry. You know it's changed when the Utica thread has become the Chromecast Helpline.

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

I guess I still like all of the comments, good or bad regarding my teamand others. It is fun to hear from the newbies too and get some new perspectives. But I do miss the old days when Oswego could really get my feathers flustered. LOL. Was that Prez.? haha! Well, anyways, let's carry on.

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

There will be a scores thread, one way or another. It's just a matter of whether Joe wants to continue his great titles.

Re: Should the scores thread continue?

One of my favourite game threads was a few years ago, when BengalMom took Remi to task for being a pain at a game he attended. The thread spiralled out of control but was entertaining nevertheless

Oh we've had some good natured rivalry fun over the past few years.... :)

That was a classic!

(But you should have seen some of the old d3hockey email list threads involving Remy...)

Ron's former employer ....not mine ........however the Tigers teeth aren't very sharp YET.

If the school gives him time and he can recruit into one of the toughest schools to get in to, they will. But don't recruit from the same talent pool you did at Adrian. It's a kiss of death.
