I honest to God think that USA Hockey should do an article about this! Freaking awesome, and I'm not referring to Cooperalls (a great link to the Flyers should go here.)

Seems to me that the existing hockey uniform already covers everything. Maybe they would add a scarf or hood to go under the helmet. There was a story in June about folks at UM getting together with local girls to come up with sports uniforms. Hearing news that Shannon Miller will be the coach for Chinese National team.....can anyone confirm?

Please God let this be true. I mean on the surface it makes enough sense. "Coach" Miller's favorite four-letter words should translate across all languages, and she loves touting her track record of coaching/developing Olympians and players who compete on the international stage.

I wonder if she includes all the Russians from the last Olympics as players who whose talent comes from her guiding hand?

I confess that I don't know all the details of Miller's claim against UMD, but issue, as I understand it, is that Miller's contract ended and was not renewed. Is she claiming that UMD is obligated to offer her another contract when the current one ends? Is NCAA coaching similar to joining Columbia Record House, where once you sign up, you can never leave?
