The '94-'95 NHL season was shortened, the '04-'05 Stanley Cup is engraved "Did Not Play," and every day this season looks increasingly endangered. NFL teams share 60% of their revenue. NHL teams share 6%. This creates class warfare between NHL owners and may complicate the CBA negotiations with players beyond resolution this year.
No sense in putting a Cheetos bag over your head. The NHL player contract or lack thereof WILL influence college hockey in general and its most accomplished players in particular, but how?
