Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

Re: Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

Doesn't matter that they have a tough weekend. Either Miami or Duluth will end up ahead of us, hopefully not both of them.
In a vacuum, if MTU sweeps NMU and UMD/Miami split, MTU is ahead of both of them...(assuming MSU beats UAA tonight)

Re: Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

So after next weekend, if MTU can sweep NMU, they can be anywhere from 13 to 18 depending on other results...

Re: Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

It really does appear that as long as MTU wins everything til at least Grand Rapids, they should be in unless some crazy stuff happens the next few weeks. Haven't ran scenarios on the final weekend yet.

I think the likelihood is that Miami and Duluth split. Duluth got three points at miami but that was quite a while ago. Miami has been pretty hot lately and playing pretty well. Thank god for WMU. Otherwise, I think we will need to have a good showing in the playoffs. even if we sweep Northern, no given at all, we will be so close to the edge that a bad performance by us at playoff time will really hurt.

At the same time, the b1g games will be huge for us. It would really help if penn state loses a couple, and if minnesota loses at least one. I have us a very tenuous 13 after the b1g is finished out. By winning last night lowell is pretty solid, but omaha could be out if they get swept next weekend. Certainly, looking at how the top teams play,( for instance the ND vs BU series this last weekend) we have to be better or we are going nowhere.
Yale was better than us for two periods, we couldn't hold Michigan down, and they are the best teams we have played. So We have to be good enough to beat both of them. The top 5 or 6 teams are really good and even if we get in, the likelihood is we play one of them right off the bat.

I haven't ran a ton of scenarios, but of the 10-15 that I did, it seems we're most sensitive to the PSU v Mich match-up and the Denver v UNO match up. Need sweeps by Mich and Denver. That puts us in 13 or 14 after the reg season. Splits in either one of those and we're down to 15-17 on the scenarios I ran.

Assumes we sweep NMU of course...

for some reason the highlights are about 10 times more HD than they always used to be on my laptop. New video system? How was the live stream this weekend? Anyway, I love Petan's "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED" goal celebration.

Re: Season 95, Vol 2: Michigan Tech '15-'16

The Friday live stream was terrible. It almost never played continuous video for more than 8 or 10 seconds at a time. Saturday was much better, not great but at least watchable.

The old highlights should be just as crisp, however you might have to change the video quality to the highest level. I've noticed that at times it defaults to a lower quality level. However once you bump it up to the max you get the steller video I WISH I was seeing on WCHA.TV every week.

Maybe try a different browser? I'm using IE and had no issues, good quality feed Friday and Saturday, continuous video the whole game.
