Yeah that was rough, have to wonder if that great chance we had in the 2nd would've spared us.

Could sense our preparation/pace of play wasn't there, saw it in practice
We haven't played a team like Bemidji for a while, they're quick/simple, we didn't react to it well
PP slowed everything down, that's how we played instead of aggressive
Mentally everything was hard, passed when should've shot, didn't manage puck, we didn't get to the net
not enough grit, have to get our hands dirty
we were soft fat happy, not prepared

Totally agree with Coach on the post game.
That loss was all about the extra effort....it wasn't there.
They played slow.
They didn't play smart.

Complete opposite of how they played against MSUM and BG.

Not that it really mattered but did anyone watch last night's game and think Chris Leibinger penalty should have been called? I was there at the game and I thought he was just protecting himself from a CFB...I didn't think he brought his elbow up or anything?

Great first period but we have got to win or at least tie up faceoffs in our end.

According to an MTU fan, BSU tried to confiscate the cowbells (it's happened many times before). MTU fan presented the NCAA rule. Went to AD...cowbells returned, FTW!

I'm in FL - lost the pasty feed, but it's almost more fun listening to the Bemidji guys. BSU is a team I really like when they're playing someone else, but I love a good confidence building beat-down for our guys too. Goes a long way to making up for the shutout against.

The BSU TV announcers sounded like the most depressed guys on earth.

That period.....*sigh*...was dominated by *long exhale* MTU.
