Really??!!
Money isn't always the answer. Most assistants aspire to be the boss sooner or later.
True unless you're already the boss

Update on referee Butch Mousseaux. He was injured in the warmup when he caught the heel of his skate in the ice and fell hard, hitting the back of his head on the ice. Along with losing a great deal of blood while on the ice surface, they determined they needed to drill at least one hole in his skull to relieve the pressure of a brain bleed. Keep him in your thoughts.

WCHA needs to change the officiating methods and styles. This season has been really really bad all the way around the league. It's costing good teams games, including MSU having to share the MacNaughton with us because of the awful changes and swings from one game to another and in our case, within the game. Three penalties called on Tech tonight where the Tech player did absolutely nothing to the Ferris player. That's not Championship or even Semifinal level worthy from the officials that did the late game tonight.
I had this question in the back of my mind several times this season. However after seeing how much Phillips played last year, neither of those guys were going to sniff the net in Jamie's Sr season unless he just fell on his face at some point. The question will be, who steps in for Phillips and how well does he do?
they played tight like they needed to not lose instead of just playing and letting their skill lead to a win.I hadn't see you guys play in person all season until last night, but I do agree with Mel's postgame comment about not being in sync. Ferris didn't give you much time and space, but offensively things just weren't clicking. Passing game in particular looked off. Tech had a fair amount of grade A shots but almost everything went wide of the net or right directly at Smith. Jamie Phillips played great; he had to make a lot more tough saves than Smith. I know it's a disappointing finish but still all in all you a very good season.
I didn't get to go. I was at the E R in Phoenix with a family member. I do want to say also that I fervently hope Butch Mousseau is ok. Nothing is more important really than him getting well.they played tight like they needed to not lose instead of just playing and letting their skill lead to a win.
very sad, what happen to Butch. My thoughts and prays with him and his family.I didn't get to go. I was at the E R in Phoenix with a family member. I do want to say also that I fervently hope Butch Mousseau is ok. Nothing is more important really than him getting well.
as far as Tech. We struggled with the UAA series because of the small amount of time they gave us with the puck, and sounds like Ferris did the same thing.
Oh I don't know. I found it to be hysterical.Team will be strong next year and will have strong motivations from our shortcomings this year. Mel will be back, the team will continue to move in the right direction. Chris Dilks' trolling tweet needs to be shoved up his rear.
no but other than Biddy, who among their fans is traveling to Detroit to watch them play?
OOOh you showed me!
The loss sucks and agree some of the calls poor but you have to play better than the calls.
its your fault anyway, you jinxed them with all the talk of Phillips being one win from tying Horsch.By far the most heinous missed call was Anselmini dislodging the net deliberately when Lucchini had an open look to score. Absolutely obscene that it wasn't at minimum a delay of game call, or more appropriately a penalty shot. Just the kind of chicken sh** play you'd expect from the Ferris that everyone has always known and despised.
