Especially when you're a "cool kid" like UNO is. Oh wait, you guys are officially part of the "cool kids" now too.;)

Just a few comments fellahs.
#1 book your rooms early. Holiday weekend.
#2 this site seems like it is going down the tubes because the server is pathetically slow.
#3 the goalie situation is like this. Faulkner is getting slow in his old age. Belfour did a way better job @ Denver and should get at least one start. We have 4 goalies now and none of them seems to have a hot hand yet this year.
#4 There is really not that many fans hanging out on mavpuck. It just seems like it because they talk alot and they have signup blocked so you have to send them an ***** kissing email to be let in to their special club.
#5 parking an the arena is $8 or $10 now.
#6 don't drink and drive, the cops will be looking for drunks this weekend.
I predict a split.

Booked WELL in advance. And no driving for us this weekend once we start our drinking... stayed at the Hilton attached to the arena last time, this time staying at the one that's on the way to the bars.

And SCSU fans will have no problem if you guys let us see all four of your sieves this weekend... we'll tell ya who we think's best. :D

Seriously, I really don't think the SCSU players have much bad blood with about anybody in the league except maybe a UND player or two. Its funny, some Gopher fans pointed out that SCSU wasn't gooning it up when we were down 5-0, but that's not our style. Our fanbase may ruffle feathers and have some bones to pick, but for the most part our team really doesn't.

I heard that during the season, the UNO hockey team 's diet consists solely of boogers. Is there any truth to that?

Although there are those who say the jury is still out on our goalie, he's already stole 2 games. In each of them he faced more than 40 shots, and one of those was a shutout. I think he's good to go. We're due for a sweep, and no better weekend to have one than this weekend in beautiful downtown Omaha.

We play well at home. I would hope we could come out with at least 3 pts. Will be curious to see what kind of crowd a sunday matinee draws.

Hopefully a quiet one cause the four loudest SCSU fans will be parked right behind the UNO goalie for the first and third periods.

Is NoClu still on these boards? Pretty sure I owe him a drink for a wager from last year

I really thought that SCSU was going to run away with UNO after watching the 1st period. SCSU was very fast, and they looked determined to keep the puck out of UNO's hands by any means necessary.

Thrilling 2nd and 3rd, though. An afternoon game today might make for some tired skating, but I'm sure that SCSU is going to come out fighting. Massa in goal for UNO?

That was pretty close to a split. If the mavs could muster more than 6 shots in the first period of each game we'd have a few more wins. Looking at the results from saturday we now know who eats boogers.
