We actually skipped the Mille Lacs deal as we heard a few bad reports. Might try that in a couple weeks around full moon time if it isn't way too chilly. Ended up going down to Red Wing to fish on the river. Caught a few keeper 'eyes. Did you make it out anywhere?

Tried a couple of my spots on the northern Mississippi Friday evening. Wind made it a challenge. Couple of little smallies and skunked on the walleyes. Not what we had hoped. Water temp is getting cool now. Walleyes should be on fire and bass will be shutting down soon. Pool 4 is a fun place. Last time I brought my little bro down there he hooked up with a nice sturgeon.
