I agree. I was wondering as I was sitting in the NHC last Saturday how they would respond tonight. Looks like they woke up and gave a pretty solid effort. a couple of turnovers we could do without, otherwise a good game.

Love seeing this team bury their chances. They weren't doing that last year. If the other team makes a mistake the Huskies have been capitalizing in a big way this year.

Biggest concern, getting the puck out of the defensive zone. The D really seemed to struggle with this in the 2nd. But when they did go tape to tape they were able to catch the Badgers pinching quite a bit and create some good rushes going the other way.

How did Barta play?

How did Barta play?

You know I didn't notice him too much. Guess that could be a good thing. There was one play that the D-man completely wiffed and I think it actually led to Wisco's goal. Thought it was Barta at first but on the replay saw that it was the Dane.

He played well. Not great, but really stepped up and didn't make any mistakes, and broke up 2 opportunities.

Yeah, but what's his record over the second half of the year? Or the year in general?

I thought you were going to the games? If you're there and posting how are you going to get the full Mad-town experience?! I wish the Huskies could've won just one game when I was there, going to have to make that trip again.

The team has played better for Dunn all season. Maybe he needs to be the guy? He played way better the first half of the season, but Lee has played better in the second half. Obviously If Dunn can get his mojo back that would be huge for this team....

Du just scored. 2-1 DU, 2 minutes left in the second.

Question? What is the method for settling ties when it comes to WCHA standings? I know it varies whether you have played at team in 1 series or 2 but can't keep everything straight.
Although this shouldn't matter that much since we should still get points against Mankato in 2 weeks which would assure of of home ice.

Question? What is the method for settling ties when it comes to WCHA standings?

1. Head to head record
2. Conference wins
3. Lowest goals against in the games between the two tied teams
4. Winning margin (goals for minus goals against)

Meaning a tie tomorrow would most likely give us the tiebreaker against Wisconsin...depending on how conference wins shake out. We already own the tiebreaker with UMD and CC owns the tiebreaker with us. With Denver it would depend upon conference wins. UND would need a miracle to catch us. They need to win out while we can't get another point. That would put them in a tie with us...and we'd have to look at conference wins.

That site must have us clinching a tie for fifth, but not consider tiebreakers. The only way for North Dakota to catch us is for them to win out and us to lose out, which would give us the same number of conference wins and North Dakota would win the tie based on the third tiebreaker.
