SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

Re: SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

They would've competed in all of the games, yes. They just didn't have enough to win those games. In a rebuilding year, with a lot of injuries, competing is playing close with a team night in and night out, regardless the results; if you're playing a team close, it's more than likely to win a few of those games as well.

Guess our definition is different. I think of "competing" as having some measure of success.

"Mankato hockey: Settin' the bar low... nope, lower.... no dude, I wanna jump OVER it not limbo under it"

You have the arrogance of a Gopher fan.

I understand what you are saying, and I'm not saying competing in games and losing them is success. Clearly success is measured in wins. My point was simple; the Mavs can compete in anyone, or to clarify, IN ANY GAME this year, when healthy.

Hey, this Wes guy seems like a smart dude! :D
I may be a lot of things, but don't ever accuse me of being smart.;)

Seriously, you guys may want to save your judgements on me until I come visit you guys a week from Friday.:D

You like college hockey, and like to fish. = good guy. I have been so impressed I have already made you a humble pie for when you come to visit next week.

Oh hush. Let's see how this weekend goes for the two teams before we start making any pie.:p Rivalry series for both teams could cause any outcome. I expect SCSU to be able to handle Kato but you guys have noted them being pretty pesky in the past, plus it's a home series for Kato so it should be an interesting series for you guys.

And I'm saying no, no you can't. I don't believe when healthy you can compete with Minnesota, Michigan, Boston College or Colorado College this year. Time will tell, but I believe you guys get your asses handed to you by them and less skilled teams than them.

Re: SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

Here, again, I have to agree with Skeeterman.

Does Mankato have more than 3 fans? Or maybe I should ask how many of the fans know how to use a computer?

Re: SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

That is for you MavHockey14....

Sorry Husky fans, but that is the first and last time I will ever post that:p

I love SC fans insulting the intelligence of Mankato fans. Or having the arrogance of Gopher fans. It makes my work day go by much quicker.

Re: SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

With my traveling luck, does this mean if I go to Mankato we will win tomorrow?

Re: SCSU @ MSUM: The Patient Shows Some Signs Of LIfe

Can St. Cloud ever get up for a series against the Mavs?
Can St. Cloud go one game without an ejection?
Is this season over without LeBlanc?

No rhythm for SCSU. Lots of end to end action, but the Mavericks played smarter. Someone needs to step up on the Huskies. It seems like no one wants the responsibility...

You're right... that does need to happen in a hurry. We play the Gophers in ten days. Good thing we get you guys this weekend. Talent has this one too lopsided.

# of SCSU goals this weekend > # of Purple Cows that would see ice time if they played for SCSU

Huskies Sweep

I sure love that puppy arrogance.

Glad to see the puppies used that talent well tonight.

Nice win, Mavs.:D

Weldie! Good to see you're still around! We'll have to have another beer out on Green Lake sometime soon!

Thanks, MavHockey14! I hang around. Pop in every now and then (usually to vent about my team). I'm always up for a trip to Green Lake! Things going well for you (especially after tonight)?
