SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

I have direct tv up here in fargo, wondering what channel if any the game will be on...thanks for you help sioux faithful

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

Wow. I think I just flushed a better effort down the toilet than the Huskies D is giving tonight.

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

The difference in goaltending this weekend was huge. Dell put rebounds into the corners or into friendly traffic, while both Dunn and Lee made the first save just fine but put rebounds where the Sioux attackers could get to them.

I'm suspecting the impact of Karl Goehring coaching is showing in the play of Aaron Dell.

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

This was just not SCSU's weekend especially the first period of tonight's game. They'll improve though and be a formidable team by the end of the season just like all WCHA teams are. Duckies, bunnies, puppy dogs and rainbows for all.

Whenever the boys put on their business suits it seems to work out..... I didn't expect them to it at home but it Hak obviously knows when to suit them up. Thanks boys for a great weekend!

The Black Reebok business suits. Only one loss with them on...pretty amazing.

And our goaltending coach is Mike Ayers. :p

Did we give the goalie coach any credit last year? Seriously, I don't remember anyone giving justin johnson any props when bobby and jase were here, so why dump on the goalie coach for dunn and lee especially when hakstol and lucia are talking about what a great tandem we have.

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

Someone mentioned St. Cloud was suppose to be good this year. Way to hold down 11th place in the league!

Somewhere, a fat NSSHG is laughing at this keyboard. That somewhere is Duluth Minnesota at 2:35 am!

Congrats. You've won the November Championship.

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

I'd like to congratulate #9 Roe from SCSU for earning my 'punk of the game' award. He starts the second period by trying to castrate the Sioux player opposite him on the face-off. Of course, that earns coincidental minor penalties. I'd call SCSU a team of stooges but I don't want to insult Larry, Moe or Curly.

22-1-2 and the only loss was in the Frozen Four against B.C. in 2008... or something like that...

Who said anyone about UMD? Stop trying to deflect the point of my original post, which is your squad flat out sucks and is the 11th place. Being in 11th place must make you wish for the days of a 10 team WCHA..... Speaking of "November Championships" well that's your squads department, not mine!

You are right. Your squads department is finishing behind us in the standings every year. At the end of the year. When the standings actually mean something.

Re: SCSU at UND battle for the headshot rule

Furthermore, I love just walking to the arena with my vintage Husky jersey on and being yelled obscenities at, classy as usual, and I expect nothing less from the trashiest most classless fans in the WCHA, you never let me down Sioux faithful....cue all the Sioux Bo-Bos on here slandering SCSU

Sweep.

REALLY!!! Any thoughts about those Sioux black jerseys!!!!!

5-0 first period!
18-4 first period SOG!
GWG 8 minutes into the game!

Did SCSU even have a game plan? Or after seeing the Sioux logo on the black jerseys, did they just plan to sort of circle the wagons around their goalie for twenty minutes?

No need to wear your vintage jersey on Saturday. A Sioux victory was all but guaranteed long before the drop of the puck. SCSU's fate was sealed the moment Hakstol made the pre-game decision to go with the black jerseys. But on a more positive note for SCSU fans you should be honored that coach Hakstol deemed your team to be a worthy opponent, enough so to merit the use of the black jerseys.

Yeah, that's been the case in recent years................are you still drunk tipsy? I bet you $10,000 your squad won't be close to mine in the standings at the end of the year....but that is beside the point. Fact is your squad is a whole bunch of underachievers right now and due to folks like you, most of us are laughing!
