SCSU at CC: Small Rivalry - Big Weekend

Re: SCSU at CC: Small Rivalry - Big Weekend

Six Minnesotans on the CC roster makes the series a little more interesting.

I'm curious as to why/how Prosser has ZERO PIM for the season. Seems almost impossible for a defenseman through 25+ games.

PC, You are correct. In fact, Prosser leads the team in both number of penalties taken [20] and penalty minutes assessed [40].

Seven from Minnesota:

McMillin
Guentzel
Prosser
Johnson
Overman
DeBoer
Howe

Overman however is out injured at this time and will not play. The other six are ready to take four points this weekend!

Don't trust the stats on USCHO, they are often inaccurate. Go Tigers!!

Re: SCSU at CC: Small Rivalry - Big Weekend

I am not focusing on 4 pints this weekend for the Huskies, just two tonight, and two tomorrow night. ;)

Two at a time boys!

Whenever I have two pints at a time, I end up pretty wasted after a few hours. I raise a pint to the CC Tigers picking up 2 points per night.:p

2 posts in 24 hours? Come on for crying out loud.

Husky gets the Tiger by the tail and gets 3 of 4.

Well for crying out loud you only have 21 for your career. ;) Anyway, big weekend. CC needs a sweep but not likely. I see splitsville.

Very nice, SCSU got two points tonight. Very happy with that, can't ask for more, but please get two more points tomorrow!!!

Re: SCSU at CC: Small Rivalry - Big Weekend

That game was nuts.
Not our best effort on defense or in goal, but man the offense came through.
I swear though, this team is determined to give me heart failure.

Oops . . well at least they got the two points! If they get two more points tomorrow, then they can have some pints on the way home! :D

St Cloud was very good tonight. CC made some mistakes and st cloud capitalized. Very impressed with their speed and control of the puck.

Re: SCSU at CC: Small Rivalry - Big Weekend

CC goaltender let in two very easy goals. CC goaltender is giving up about 4 a game over the last six weeks.

Did any one at the game see what happened at the end when some Tiger fan and a group of Husky fans got into some kind of altercation? Appeared the Tiger fan was attemping to take away the Husky flag when one of the Husky fans kicked the Tiger fan in the side or in the rib area. Security jumped right in and all of a sudden the Tiger fan went down the stairs. Anyone know what happened?

 Not good. Is your arena on campus and alcohol free?

Sounds like we made some mistakes that ended up in the back of our net too.

And CCtig, do you have some sorta supersticious thing where you won't mention Howe's name?

Yes, I do, it has to do with his mother.

Not on campus, and alcohol flows freely, however it does cost money. They (whoever that is) did a survey a few years ago and the three most drunk cities in the U.S. are in this order:

1. Denver
2. Anchorage
3. Colorado Springs (Must be all those tourists from St. Cloud)
