Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and President Trump both came to Kavanaugh's defense over the weekend, with McConnell criticizing Democrats for a "willingness to seize on completely uncorroborated and unsubstantiated allegations."
Can't substantiate or corroborate anything if you don't investigate.
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said she does not regret her vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, despite the vote becoming a key issue among Democrats hoping to unseat her when she is up for reelection next year.
“I do not regret my vote in the least,” she said in an interview with The New York Times published Saturday.
Sure. And that was ignored, because, Republicans.
uncorroborated and unsubstantiated two more words that no Republican knows the definition.
Well you know, if you let the FBI investigate, they can find out quite easily whether they are " unsubstantiated and uncorroborated". Just saying.
Edit: Fade and I on the same page here.
Not really. The FBI has been taken over by Barr which is totally controlled by Trump. This is why Mueller was such a gargantuan disappointment and failed at his job.
No sticky.
A reminder for Maine.

That's all her opponent needs to run on.
Mueller could only do what he could do. The quote is "a republic, if you can keep it."
The disappointment is the American people. We are the ones who let this happen. Nazism took root here because we were lazy, stupid, and unwilling to put our petty squabbles away in the face of an existential threat to democracy. You still see people doing it, right here, when they slag members of the coalition that can stop it.
This is the last great legacy of the most selfish people to ever come down the pike. "It's all our fault."

Anything I've ever seen about the justices suggests that they all get along a lot better than most of us would expect, and some would hope. I suppose some people still find it odd that adults can disagree on a subject, even one of great importance, and not take that disagreement personally.
I remember reading that RBG and Scalia used to get lunch together almost daily.
