I have no idea if he did it. But I do know that no sincere attempt was made to find out.

I don't like his temper and his unwillingness to offer to help. His relying on the committee is relying on a 100% percent Republican controlled effort that will side with him 100% percent of the time.

I also have no idea if he did it. I do believe Ford was assaulted. I just don't know by who.

FTR, this goes the same for those who don't think Kavanaugh did it. Don't present it as fact; present it as an opinion. :)

Even if he didn't do it, I've seen more than enough from him to indicate he shouldn't be seated. That disgraceful performance yesterday should've been the nail in the coffin.

The republicans will get to seat a conservative and shift the court further right. I have no doubt about that. However, after Garland they should know that the Democrats are going to fight that ideological shift tooth and nail. Kavabro is too damaged. They should move on.

So Flake just pulled off the ultimate ...

I'll vote yes here and now but I'm voting no on the floor vote unless

A) one week has passed, and
B) FBI has investigated.


Plus Flake all but said he got the Ds to say they'll tone down the rhetoric if the FBI comes back with nothing more than what's out there now (i.e. unsubstantiated claims).

On his way out the door Flake's jammed up ol' Mitch.

Between now and a week from now the over/under for new claims against Kavanaugh is 2.5 new claimants. Place your bets.

Thirty years ago, claims of recollections already out there, if I'm supposed to set book on that ... hmmm ...

I'll go 8:1 says the FBI comes back with "we can't substantiate beyond what the Committee already has" or some other similarly obtuse finding.

That won't be what takes him down. My bet has been he knocked up some girl he date raped and had mommy and daddy pay her off.
