Wasn't part of the testimony that Judge jumped onto the two? Was that a clumsy attempt a menage-a-trois? If so, that opens the "5th" avenue to him.

I'm surprised Mitchell spent as much time on the "flying" thing as she did. That said, Dr Ford claimed a fear of flying but could be shown to have traveled a great deal by airplane. Was that line trying to make Dr Ford less credible by showing her claimed fear was contradicted by travel patterns and the claim was a delay tactic?

What's the 'prosecutor' doing hanging out with just GOP senators in private talking about the case - and giving her prognosis with one party present? Just goes how corrupt the process has been.

The GOP hired her to ask Dr. Ford the questions yesterday because they didn't want to come off as bullies. They hired a woman who is a card carrying member of the GOP. Why are you surprised that she's talking with them?

The FBI doesn't grant immunity. The justice department (a prosecutor) needs to grant immunity to witnesses. So a federal prosecutor should be assigned to this case?

If that's what's needed then yes. Why is this so difficult for you and the Republicans to understand? The process is truth. And uncovering the truth is what Dr. Ford wants and what most sane minded Americans want. Kavanaugh did the assault. If we need to prosecute him, and Judge to get at the truth then we should do so.

She isn't wrong. Based on what we know for sure at this point the charge wouldn't hold. I bet she would investigate though...

She told them that to give them what they wanted to hear.

And during that investigation she as a prosecutor could give Judge immunity so he could not plead the 5th.
