Why would he play chicken with the voters...he is out come November. Flake has nothing to fear unless he thinks he has a legit shot at running for President in which case he is deranged.

True but I guess I was thinking of the ones who have not taken the cowards way out. It will take 3 of this get to the full senate.

I wouldn't be surprised either way he goes. I thought it was telling that he was the only Republican who didn't lay into the Democrats on the committee.

This is pretty much it. Murkowski is from the Corporate wing of the party. Alaska is an Oil State, not a far right nutbar state (Oh, we have plenty of nutbars for sure), most will vote for what keeps them employed and keeps the PFD checks flowing.

Well Collins has already been dealing with backlash over this so I am not sure how much that gambit will help her.

We will see...I am sure Itch and Trump are doing whatever they can to bribe them with pork as we speak. That didnt work for Health Care but it did for Tax Reform. I am not sure Pork will be enough to get them to take the bullet here but these days I put nothing past these clowns.

Meanwhile the rest of the Justices have to be facepalming this.

Bari Weiss is probably hours away from telling us why Ford should just shut up and Kavanaugh isnt really that bad. Maggie Haberman is waiting for info from her source...err...the Press Secretary about how she should feel about the testimony.

Yeah, and then in the general who do they vote for? I kinda doubt a significant portion is just sitting that out. Idk maybe someone has data that shows otherwise in which case I’ll admit I’m wrong.

It's funny how Umbridge was ****canned after she began questioning Kavanaugh about that July 1st entry on his calendar, the one where he was "heading over to Timmy's house for skis with Judge, PJ" and one or two other kids.

Kavanaugh, Judge, PJ, and one other boy she didn't know, Ford says were at the party where she was attacked.

We need to find out where Timmy's house was located on those maps the Repubs had.

Also funny that according to those that have seen Judge's book (or whatever it is) Ford's story matches up with what he says.

Yes, to a far right nutbar named Joe Miller (who ran against her again in 2016 and got nearly 30%).

In her 3 elections she has never hit 50% of the vote.

Finally finished watching Ford’s testimony.

She’s my hero. She’s far stronger than anyone I know. That was scripted psychological torture.

In the general they vote for Joe Miller (at least in 2010 and 2016). Just look up the election history.
