Like I said they were lying when Grassley said the other witnesses were not cooperating. Why they would challenge Avenatti, a guy who has no issue going public when attacked is beyond me.

Cause they're gonna hold the vote tomorrow and push him through before Avenatti can get to do anything.

I hope she never has to deal with the truth...

Reading Avenatti's email exchange with Davis...unless Avenatti didnt include emails (which would be stupid) to me it looks like Davis just didnt respond multiple times. Once Davis found out Avenatti had a witness he all of a sudden went silent then complained that Avenatti didnt give them all the information.

I am going to amend what I said...I dont think Grassley lied. I think Davis lied to Grassley so Grassley could have plausible deniability. Grassley can say "we tried but I never heard from you" because he probably (willfully) had no idea what was going on behind the scenes.

I dunno I would not make an enemy of Avenatti if I was a GOPer. Its bad enough you raked him over the coals in committee for being a "porn star lawyer" but if you lie about communications you are setting yourself up to fail. I wouldnt put it past him to hire a Private Investigator to dig up dirt on any of these clowns and he is sleazy enough to use it.

Murkowski already has a lot of hate from the far right and definitely doesn’t get too many votes from them. Where Murkowski gets votes is from corporatists, independents, and some conservadems. Murkowski almost has to be a No at this point considering plenty of folks have come out against him, especially the Alaska Federation of Natives.

The one to watch is our other Senator, Dan Sullivan. If he holds true and votes to confirm he could be in serious trouble in two years. Sullivan barely won despite the odds being stacked in his favor in 2014 and this could be a huge noose hung around him, especially given Alaska’s terrible sexual assault rates.

I kinda doubt she doesn't get the far right vote seeing as they have nobody else to vote for. They're not gonna vote third party and certainly not democrat.

Collins can survive in Maine without the Trumpers. She would keep all women and independents along with the non nutsos. Voting for #angrycryer will alienate a lot of women and all Independents.

After hearing Flake's short comments, my guess is that he's a no.

The supreme court is the the single most important reason why republicans are putting up with trump. I wouldn't hold my breath on him being a "no" on Kavanaugh. My guess is republicans are all playing a game of chicken with voters. They think they'll be punished by their voters if they go against trump and they are hoping a "yes" on Kavanaugh won't cost them votes from independents and the 1 or 2 thinking republicans out there in November.
