This is a disaster. Why didn't they just have the FBI investigate in the first place? If the FBI cleared him then this disaster might have never happened.

Is this really still his opening statement still? Good Lord sac up and take questions Grassley will give you plenty of slaps on the back.

How does this work after today? Committee vote then full Senate early next week?

Hearing that he is crying makes me think of Charlie Sheen at the end of Wall Street. Entitled ***** gets caught and he balls like a baby.

Supposed to be full vote Tuesday I think. At this rate Judge Rapey McCriesalot will still be explaining his days at Yale...

would guess from an all boys high end private school with whitey there are a number in high profile washington jobs and business who run in the same circles as those who ask questions. this would have been known if someone asked. and with his job it would have. if it was kept quiet, so be it. but with a number of women now people talk.

Right now even the conservatives SC judges are hoping he goes down in flames, since they'll have to put up with his whiny **** for decades

This emotion shifting seems so unnatural...either a complete act or we are watching a man have a massive breakdown on live TV.
Neither of which are good for a SC Justice.

Still on opening statement. Full Trump to begin. Balling the last 15 minutes.

Like I said earlier. This hearing is a disaster and should never have happened without the reopening of the FBI background check. Would have been very simple to do. If they found nothing he would be free and clear and confirmed. If they found something he could have bowed out gracefully and out of the spotlight.

This is ugly, and a complete train wreck.
