Re: Scotus 11: Will Thomas Ever Speak Again?

Jesus...

You know it was bad enough that Trump showed us how racist this flipping country is, now we see how a large segment of men truly feel. Yeah we all knew...but now we KNOW.

Well...any woman who knowingly votes GOP gets what they deserve.
Follow-up question to ask: Why was she drunk?

Cause the guys in her group were plying her with booze.

Why would guys want to do that?

Re: Scotus 11: Will Thomas Ever Speak Again?

Examples above. I had seen any number of similar comments elsewhere. Kavanaugh doesn't say he couldn't have assaulted Ford because he was a virgin. That's all.

That was part of his reason why not. Not his only reason, but it was one of them.

Re: Scotus 11: Will Thomas Ever Speak Again?

Richard Marx (yes that one) is fun anyways on twitter...but the last few days he is just retweeting the incels defending Kavanomeansyes and ripping them to shreds.

17 year old Kavanaugh is the guy the incels wish they could be. The guy they dream of being.

What does sexual intercourse have to do with sexual assault? Nothing. He could have been involved in any number of gang bangs and still remained a virgin.

They were different sentences. One doesn’t have to have anything to do with the other.

So true. Those people will wager their salvation on exactly what was said in Judea 2,000 years ago.

Re: Scotus 11: Will Thomas Ever Speak Again?

Big surprise. Kavanaugh even lied about the legal drinking age in Maryland during his Fox news interview.

If played right...this could and should be a huge deal. Standards need to be really high for the guy - its the SCOTUS.

Re: Scotus 11: Will Thomas Ever Speak Again?

Someone on the panel needs to ask him about this.

"You lied about this on national TV, what else are you lying about? How much are you willing to lie to get this position?"

Kavanaugh says this on Fox:

And yes, there were parties. And the drinking age was 18, and yes, the seniors were legal and had beer there. And yes, people might have had too many beers on occasion and people generally in high school – I think all of us have probably done things we look back on in high school and regret or cringe a bit, but that’s not what we’re talking about.

In the Summer of 1982, Seniors who turned 18 prior to the drinking age being raised on July 1 were still legal to drink on July 2. Kavanaugh doesn't say he was legal, or even that he drank. Although I'm not sure having a beer or even ten at 17 in 1982 is in itself disqualifying for anything.

That's brilliant.

But we're talking about 1983 here.

Lemme guess, since he was shot gunning liquor up his a55, he wasn't drinking?
