The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
IMO its MJ. So far its not the loss of Vetter - GAA is 2. GFA is less than 2. Coaching staff needs to get more out of the offensive talent. There is plenty of it. MJ would find a way to get goals into the back of the net. 0 for 8 on th ePP today. UGHH
Probably some of both, plus Lawler, Knight, Duggan, Keseley, Matthews ... they had to replace a lot. I'm interested to get my first look at the defending champs in a week.
I definitely think no Coach Johnson is a big factor. But after they lost a lot of star players they started slowly in the fall of 2007 -- their record was 10-6-2 on Dec 1, then they went 19-3-1 the rest of the way. Granted, they had played a tougher schedule then, But even under Johnson, the Badger teams weren't their menacing selves overnight.
UCONN/ Union
1-1 after 2
Relatively even game; goal for uUnion early in 1st, goal for Uconn early in 2nd.
UCONN outshooting Union, and leading on faceoffs
